Sarah was chosen as one of our class of 2015 models and I couldn’t wait to be a part of her senior shoot because her and her family attend the same church Shane and I attend. It’s always nice to know the model and her family so that you can bring out the best of their personality in the photos. Both her mom and dad were there with her during her shoot and they wrote a beautiful letter that they read during the video and slideshow we put together. Sarah is the oldest of two sisters and they are a very close-knit family. Sarah said that the thing she is looking forward to the most during her senior year is setting an example for all the underclassmen at Montrose High School, including her younger sister. What a great thing to strive for! For Sarah, this goal will be easy to reach because of how involved she is in the community and at school.
She is in color guard with the marching band, sings and performs with the Montrose High School Chamber Choir which is the highest level mixed choir in the school, plays tennis for Montrose High School, and sings at Montrose Christian Church on Sundays with the other worship leaders. Sarah describes herself as energetic, musical, and outgoing. Her passion is music and she wants to be a music teacher for elementary students so that she can help kids learn “through their love of music”. Sarah has a contagious, happy spirit and is so friendly. She is loved by everyone she meets and easily makes people around her feel comfortable and accepted. Her love for people is so obvious and she loves having fun with everything she does.
These photos truly showcase Sarah’s inner and outer beauty and who she has become- a gorgeous senior who is ready to take on her future with passion and excitement! We had a lot of fun at the tennis court to capture her in action doing what she loves to do and has been doing all four years of high school. And her color guard flag- the fading sun provided the perfect backdrop for something epic! I’m so glad I got to capture the summary of her high school career and help her to remember these fun and exciting times. Sarah, you are such a beautiful person. Never forget the love you have for your family and others around you, and never forget the things you love to do! Those things will be the oxygen you need to get through some of the harder parts of life. Your future is so bright! We hope that these coming years are filled with joy and your dreams come true!
