Maggi and Yash heard about us through many friends (emphasis on many, haha) and inquired about maternity photos. Since we had a limited portfolio of maternity photography in Montrose, Colorado, we jumped on this amazing opportunity to photograph a gorgeous mother to be and her happy, and silly, husband.
They were very light-hearted the whole session, and you can tell they are VERY much in love and that they are going to fun and loving parents. Maggi loves cleaning, so in the first few weeks of having baby Paxton, I’m sure she is going to go nuts with a messy house. But having a messy house is what parenthood is about… or at least that’s what I hear. Yash loves video games and scifi novels, which may turn into Baby Einstein movies and Dr. Seuss books
Maggi’s parents have a pool, and they are so excited to share their love for swimming with their baby boy. As if they weren’t close enough, this pregnancy has brought them even closer! And that totally makes sense! Between late-night cravings, decorating baby’s room, admiring Maggi’s cute baby bump, and dreaming about what he will be like, you get to learn about your spouse on a whole different level! To see your spouse love someone they haven’t even met yet must be an amazing feeling.
Their faith has a lot to do with how they will be amazing parents. Maggi considers herself so lucky to have Yash and now baby Paxton. They feel so blessed by how God looks out for them and blesses them so many times over. Maggi is a little nervous about how her body will react after baby comes, but she also knows that this is all part of life, and she will embrace her beauty in every season of life. I admire that about her. Under Yash’s goofy exterior is a solid rock husband who loves and cherishes his wife and baby, and I know their love for each other will only grow with time. I am so honored that the Dyer family has trusted me with their family memories, and I am so pleased with the results. Paxton is one loved little baby boy!
